roy2Roy Beauchamp: Copy Writer

Roy brings more than 25 years of experience in direct (from mail to print to catalogs and TV) and digital to the Metis Zone team of consultants. He and George Weideman founded Grey Direct back in 1980 and he ran the San Francisco office until 1987 having turned it into one of the leading direct marketing agencies in the US. Prior to that, he was the head of creative group at Time Inc. for all circulation for their portfolio of magazines (People, Time, Sports Illustrated, etc.). He’s developed award-winning copy for brands like eBay, Cisco, Experian, PayPal, Xerox, and HP.

airyAiry McCurdy: Copywriter

Airy first started in marketing working in the oil and gas and lighting industry in Canada before moving to California in 2015. She has 7 years of experience developing go-to-market strategies and product development. Airy also has a strong ideation and conceptualization background and is a key facilitator of our brainstorming sessions. Her personal passion is writing and content development, and she’s the author of The Butterfly Gang and is writing EMPLOYEE 116

lorenLoren Simpelo: Designer

With over a 20 years of technology and software marketing experience, Loren has worked with numerous start-up ventures, as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Yahoo!, Adobe Software, Microsoft, Sony, Time Warner, Verizon, T-Mobile, EA Sports, Cisco, and Intel. These projects include website design, online advertising campaigns, corporate identity, interactive multimedia presentations, video and print projects.

Loren has taken his marketing experience and applied it to the exploding ecommerce industry. He is involved with several non-profit groups involved with clean technology and energy efficiency to help them grow in their respective categories within the clean technology space.


Ccraigraig Thigpen: Designer

Craig has a deep background in online front-end design, and brings valuable expertise and technical knowledge to each project he works on. He implements creative solutions by delivering premier, high-visibility websites, engaging and impactful lead-generation activities, as well as engaging creative and brand enrichment solutions. Client work includes: Wells Fargo, Publicis, Intel, Levi Strauss, Common Sense Media, AAA, HomeGain and eBay. Area of expertise include: email visual and UI design, online advertising, Web design, microsites, and landing pages.

ScottScott Sidorsky: Designer

Scott has been working with some of the world’s most recognized brands for over 20 years. He has created award winning direct marketing campaigns for clients such as American Express, Apple, eBay, Dell, Dow, Google, Nike, Samsung, Sony and AT&T. His specialties include print advertising, editorial content, social media, packaging, point of purchase, catalog, exhibit design and photo art direction.
